Employer / Local Demographics

List of Functional Requirements for Employer / Local Demographics module:

  • 1. Universal Employer Search functionality provides a rich set of attributes for searching hotels, clubs and locals
  • 2. The search function detects type of the employer (e.g., whether it’s a hotel, club or local) and opens appropriate Employer “Launch Pad” (different screen layouts and information are shown for each employer type), which allows to launch a business transaction for selected employer (e.g., Maintain Employer Demographics, View Contribution Accounting Balance, Print Invoice, Send Ad-Hoc Letter, Maintain Local Dues Schedule, etc.) with provision to the security enforcements at the time of operation.
  • 3. Ability to add a new employer
  • 4. Maintain employer departments
  • 5. Shortcut navigation from the Employer Profile to the Contract Maintenance
  • 6. Be able to monitor and maintain information regarding Non Union Shops that are within Funds jurisdiction.
  • 7. Enter and keep user comments on the Employer Profile
  • 8. Utilization of different Addresses for different purposes and historical tracking of Address changes.
  • 9. Address entry is checked in real time to meet USPS specifications and is CASS verified (address is recognized as deliverable by USPS).
  • 10. View active/inactive employees with greater or less than 9 months of work filtration
  • 11. Mass operations – ability to selectively choose employers (using check boxes in the search result) and perform mass operations, such as printing/e-mailing monthly invoices or any other operation present on the Launch Pad.
  • 12. Data conversion of all employer / local related data into UFIMS
